Bible study is heavily based on Dr. Nunnally’s work. I have not yet discovered
if he has published his book, but I will post a link for his work if I find out
that he has published it. Feel free to comment on this blog if you discover his
published book (if it’s published) before I do!

Verse 8: Caesar was commonly used at this time to refer to ruler of the Roman empire. The "Caesar" of this time was Nero.
Verse 13: #1:
King Agrippa (full name: Marcus Julius Agrippa II) was the great grandson of
Herod the Great. He ruled the area of Israel which is northeast of the Sea of
Galilee. Later, parts of Galilee and Perea were added to his kingdom.
